All our Cottonsafe® mattresses, futons, futomats and children’s items are handmade to order in our Devon based workshop, so it does take a little bit longer to produce our items than other mass produced, machine made, off the shelf alternatives, but our super team of skilled craftspeople work really hard to get your order to you as soon as possible.

UK Mainland

How Will My Order Be Delivered?

Mattresses

Our adult bed mattresses ordered for delivery to the UK Mainland and Scottish Highlands are delivered by Higher Jump Logistics, a national delivery service, two-man team to the room of your choice. 

Once your item has been despatched from our workshop you will receive an email or text message offering the opportunity to book in a date for delivery. The night before your delivery you will receive a 3-hour time slot for the day of delivery.  

If you are local to us workshop we will despatch your mattress with a local 2 man delivery courier, Dart Removals. In this instance we will liaise with you directly to book in a date for delivery and our courier will contact you when they are on their way to confirm an ETA. 

Customers must be available to accept delivery.

We can arrange for a named day or Saturday delivery upon request, this comes at a charge of £45.00 which must be paid in advance of delivery. Saturday deliveries are before noon.

Children’s & Nursery, Futons, Futomats and Toppers

For UK Mainland and Scottish Highland deliveries of our Children’s mattresses, futons, Futomats and toppers, ordered for delivery to the UK Mainland and Scottish Highlands are delivered by Higher Jump Logistics, a national delivery service, two-man team to the room of your choice. 

Once your item has been despatched from our workshop you will receive an email or text message offering the opportunity to book in a date for delivery. The night before your delivery you will receive a 3-hour time slot for the day of delivery.  

Customers must be available to accept delivery.

We can arrange for a named day or Saturday delivery upon request, this comes at a charge of £40.00 which must be paid in advance of delivery. Saturday deliveries are before noon.

Cot

All our Babies mattresses, futons and Futomats are handmade to order in our Devon based workshop, so it does take a little bit longer to produce our items than other high-volume, machine made, off the shelf alternatives, but our super team of skilled craftspeople work really to get your order to you as soon as possible.

For UK Mainland and Scottish Highland deliveries of our babies mattresses, we use DPD.

Delivery is normally within 7 - 10 working days in mainland UK.

Bedding

For UK Mainland and Scottish Highland deliveries of our bedding, we use DPD. Smaller items are usually despatched within 48 to 72 working hours from order, once your order has been despatched you will receive a text message from DPD providing you with a 2 – 3 hour window on the morning of your delivery.

Further Information

We cannot be held responsible if the delivery is delayed by the courier for reasons such as misrouting, weather, driver shortages, etc.

The goods must be checked thoroughly before a signature is given to the driver.

If there is in any doubt of the condition of the goods or packaging, you must sign as DAMAGED, do not sign as unchecked.

We cannot be held responsible for product or packaging that has been visibly damaged in transit and then signed for as received in "good condition" (any signature alone represents this).

Cottonsafe® Natural Mattress will not accept damage claims for goods which have been signed for as “received in good condition”.
